Here you will find an insight into the work of our students, as well as information about events, competitions and much more.
We are still busy renovating and remodeling our school building!
Year 7 participated successfully in the European English Contest for Schools, "theBIG Challenge 2020".
Our primary students had fun activies during the autumn break. They enjoyed many different activities inside and outside the school.
100th day of school
Project Week -Animated Film
On the 100th day of school, our Year 1 pupils take part in a special celebration recognising this significant day. On this occasion, everything revolves around the number 100, including team games and creative activities all featuring the theme of ‘100.’ This is how the children experience the concept of 100 for the first time.
The ski camp is one of the firm traditions of our school. Years 5 and 6 go to the ski camp in Heubach during the first week of March. The on-site offers are aimed at beginners as well as advanced skiers. The participants choose between skiing and snowboarding.
As part of the annual project week, students can take part in various offers.
For example, our students developed an animated film, wrote the story, created the characters and put together the filmed scenes themselves.
Our Summer festival is an end of year highlight! Students help prepare for this day throughout the school year. Every year we celebrate with a chosen topic and organise our festival accordingly. Sometimes we ‘travel around the world’, ‘fly into space’ or ‘experience the circus.’
Annual Theatre and Music Projects are presented to everyone involved.
Students are honoured with an award at the summer festival either for their good performance or for best personal development throughout the school year.
In Year 7 and 9, trips to England and Spain are an integral part of our school programme. These trips offer unforgettable moments. Along the way, the students deepen their language skills.
Use of the foreign language is essential with the host families. In Cádiz, our students also study at the Language School, explore the city, visit Seville, learn to surf the Atlantic Ocean, and try flamenco dancing or cooking traditional paella.
Every year, all children in Years 1 to 4 look forward to our reading night. On this evening, the students attend various workshops related to the topic of books / theatre / film etc. We have dinner together before spending the night at school tucked up in our sleeping bags with a good book to enjoy!
In the morning, the children are picked up by their parents.
We leave Year 5 free to decide whether they want to hold a reading night or a reading evening. This is also an essential element of our school programme.
